Prerequisites for the Dtx API

The following .dll files (which get installed with every Dentrix Enterprise installation) are required to use the API:
Guestimate.dll
Persist.dll
POAssist.dll
PORep.dll
DTX.DataAccess.dll
DTX.DataAccessExt.dll

Also, a user account must be created in Dentrix Enterprise, which will be used to connect to the Dentrix Enterprise database using that user's user name and password. The user must have sufficient rights to perform the desired tasks in Dentrix Enterprise through the API.
